Officer Steve Nothem #1070 was killed in the line of duty on October 18, 2022 while blocking traffic with his squad car. Steve was using his squad car as a barrier to protect his fellow Officers while they were working through an investigation when it was struck by another motorist.
Steve joined the Carrollton Police Department in March 2020 after serving the Grand Chute, WI Police Department for four years. Prior to his Law Enforcement career, Steve served for many years in the U.S. Marines Corps. Steve was a father of 4, a husband and a friend to so many.
